TVS Supply Chain grows in North America, opening a 225,000 sq. ft. facility in Iowa, improving efficiency and service.
One of India's finest integrated supply chain businesses, TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS), plans to grow in North America by constructing a new 225,000-square-foot facility in Waterloo, Iowa. The business has been expanding at an annual rate of 20% per year for the past four years, allowing them to meet their goal of $500 million in revenue in the region. Currently 95% occupied, the modern facility will offer value-added assembly, kitting, sequencing, and immediate delivery services for local manufacturers. The location, which has advanced automation and robotic technology, is made to increase efficiency, reduce delivery times, and preserve high service standards.
“The next phase of supply chain operations is represented by this new facility in Iowa," stated TVS SCS Managing Director Ravi Viswanathan. "It reflects the increasing trust customers have in us and opens the way for faster growth in the United States." The facility's role in strengthening the region's manufacturing and logistics industry was highlighted during the opening ceremony, which was attended by Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds.
TVS SCS's CEO for North America & Europe, Richard Vieites, confirmed the business's dedication to the United States, highlighting a new 225,000-square-foot facility that is currently being built close by and is expected to be operational the following quarter. In addition, TVS SCS has a location in Iowa City. The Waterloo location supports TVS SCS's growing Midwest network with 30 dock doors, two automated doors, an operator's room, and 6,800 square feet of workspace. In the future, TVS SCS aims to lead the journey to more smart supply chains. It plans to build an AI-powered logistics network throughout North America by 2030, transforming the transport of goods by automation, real-time tracking, and predictive modeling, resulting in a supply chain that is faster, smarter, and stronger.
