Power Automation secures exclusive distribution of TBEA's critical power equipment across Singapore infrastructure.
Power Automation, the engineering services subsidiary of SP Group has secured an exclusive distributorship agreement with global power solutions provider TBEA Co., Ltd. significantly expanding its portfolio of critical power equipment and infrastructure solutions in Singapore.
Under the agreement, Power Automation becomes the exclusive distributor of TBEA's primary power equipment in Singapore including gas-insulated and air insulated switchgear, power and distribution transformers and reactors. These components are essential for construction, expansion and upgrading of power networks across the region. The partnership integrates TBEA's equipment expertise with Power Automation's established strengths in grid automation, protection systems and digital monitoring and control solutions.
The collaboration represents a strategic expansion of Power Automation's capabilities enabling the company to provide support for power infrastructure projects with integrated physical and digital solution capabilities spanning the complete asset lifecycle. This positions Power Automation to address increasingly complex power network demands as electricity consumption grows, energy systems evolve and energy transition acceleration intensifies.
The distributorship agreement includes technical training and knowledge transfer from TBEA to Power Automation's engineering team, strengthening local capabilities in in market engineering, system integration, installation, testing, and commissioning and lifecycle management. This transfer of expertise enhances Power Automation's delivery capabilities and reinforces its position as Singapore's leading engineering services and technology solutions provider in power systems automation and digitalization.
