Midstream refining expertise positions company within collaborative network advancing domestic lithium ecosystem development.
As an American company that creates lithium carbonate for batteries, Stardust Power Inc. has now become a participant in the Lithium Regional Innovation Cluster (LRIC). This new LRIC membership is meant to create a creative industry group designed to promote progress in innovation, supply chain stability, and economic growth along the entire U.S. lithium supply chain.
With their new memorandum of understanding, Stardust Power will be part of a large network with industry peers, technology providers, educational institutions, and government entities that are all working together to help create an effective and dependable domestic lithium ecosystem. Being a part of this collaboration should help Stardust Power fulfill its long-term objective of increasing lithium refinement capacity in the U.S.
By being a member of LRIC, Stardust Power will also have the opportunity to provide its mid-stream refinement expertise while working with other players in the value chain to support the development of innovations and implement industry best practices. LRIC will provide Stardust Power with the opportunity to participate in initiatives to promote the technological advancement of lithium refinements and to improve the coordination of the U.S. lithium supply chain, positioning itself as a major piece of the infrastructure needed to develop a domestic lithium market.
Stardust Power's CEO Roshan Pujari states how valuable working together will be as a team: "Connecting with LRIC means that Stardust is part of a larger network of industry professionals who are collaborating to create a robust lithium supply chain for the USA. As we move toward the construction stage of our refinery in Muskogee, OK, we will be able to share our operational experience and gain useful knowledge from all of those involved in lithium production."
