Konecta and the Egypt Healthcare Authority plans AI-powered digital transformation to improve healthcare services and smart ability operations.
Konecta Egypt and the Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) are looking into a possible partnership for advancing smart healthcare services and digital transformation in the nation. To discuss how modern technology can improve healthcare service in Egypt, EHA Chairperson Ahmed El-Sobky recently met with Safinaz El-Kattam, Chief Business Officer of the Middle East and Africa, and Tawfik Kandil, General Manager of Konecta Egypt.
Establishing an AI Center of Excellence at the EHA is one of the main ideas that were discussed. Artificial intelligence helps this center make better clinical choices, analyze health data more effectively, and offer better services. In addition, it will improve the Universal Health Insurance System by helping in the efficient operation of smart healthcare facilities.
El-Sobky highlighted the Authority's dedication to partnering with international IT leaders to transform Egypt's healthcare industry. Over $200 million has been invested worldwide by Konecta, a leader in integrated technology solutions. El-Sobky stated that Konecta is an ideal match for Egypt's digital health goals as it has experience in delivering enormous, significant technological initiatives.
Tawfik Kandil said that Konecta aims to bring its creativity and global experience to Egypt. Kandil also stressed the company's dedication to ecologically, technologically based healthcare solutions. Konecta, with 25 years of experience, strengthened its place as a global leader in the digital healthcare industry by developing a Center of Excellence for Generative AI in Egypt.
