The Dell Technologies Deskside Agentic AI is a new enterprise product that is meant to enable enterprises to design and implement their own agentic AI solutions locally, instead of exclusively using public cloud resources. The product was unveiled at Dell Technologies World 2026 as a component of Dell’s overall AI Factory with Nvidia's approach that promises to provide all-encompassing enterprise AI capabilities. With its help, developers can design, test, and calibrate AI agents in an isolated sandboxed environment powered by Dell high performance computers like GB10, GB300, and Precision 9 Towers.
Dell Technologies Deskside Agentic AI for Local AI Development
The system leverages Nvidia NemoClaw, an open-source software stack that includes tools for creating and managing AI agents. This enables developers to build always-on AI applications more efficiently while maintaining full control over data and infrastructure. By shifting workloads closer to the edge, the platform reduces dependency on external cloud APIs and helps organizations accelerate AI development cycles.
A key advantage of the Dell Technologies Deskside Agentic AI is improved cost efficiency. Dell highlights that enterprises can significantly reduce spending compared to cloud-based AI services, which often incur unpredictable token-based costs. By running AI workloads locally, organizations gain more predictable budgeting and better control over resource usage.
Enterprise Security and AI Data Platform Expansion
Security is another major focus of the platform. Running AI agents on-premises helps keep sensitive enterprise data within controlled environments, reducing risks associated with external exposure. The system also allows organizations to implement governance and guardrails to manage AI behavior effectively in enterprise use cases.
Alongside this launch, Dell also enhanced its AI Data Platform with Nvidia integration, adding support for Nvidia Omniverse. This enables enterprises to use digital twins and physical AI workflows, including robotics simulation and training, using structured and trusted data pipelines. These upgrades strengthen Dell’s position in delivering scalable enterprise AI infrastructure. Business Honor views this launch as a significant step in enabling secure, cost-efficient, and scalable agentic AI adoption across enterprise environments.
