Microsoft Enhances Windows 11 with Smart, AI-Powered Creative Tools

Windows 11 adds AI features to Paint, Snipping Tool, and Notepad, improving creativity, accuracy, and content generation efficiency.

Microsoft announces new AI features for Windows 11 and new updates on smart tools like notepad, snipping and painting tools, which work to improve the user output. The users of Windows 11 in the Canary and Dev Channels are now getting these updates.

The painting tool has improved with the update, bringing in three changes on Windows 11. By just typing in a prompt, the new feature will enable the user to generate a custom sticker, and directly it can be added to the canvas, saved, and copied as well. A quick tutorial-style welcome dialog now appears when Paint opens, and the user can modify individual elements within images separately.

The snipping tool is updated with a color picker and flawless screenshot. It features a perfect screenshot where there’s no need for cutting and resizing. The users can quickly activate it by pressing Ctrl while selecting or by using the toolbar.

Through the color-picking feature on screen, RGB, HSL, or HEX format, the developers and designers can identify and select color. In order to access these features, the user should first have a Microsoft account, and it is available in Copilot+ PCs.

The feature Write in Notepad enables the users to create content and expand the existing one. It is available for Microsoft 365 enterprise, personal, family, and Copilot Pro users. It is accessible through Ctrl + Q. These creative features are making the audience, especially the developers and designers, more excited.
