Mustafa Suleyman, the head of AI at Microsoft, has warned that artificial intelligence may replace "most, if not all," white-collar jobs in the next 12 to 18 months, which is arguably one of the most aggressive predictions ever made by any technology giant.
Addressing the fast growth of Microsoft AI, Mustafa said AI systems are closing in on human-level intelligence across a range of professional tasks. Mustafa also pointed out that jobs that are highly computerized, like lawyers, accountants, marketers, and project managers, are particularly susceptible to automation.
