SailPoint partners with Imprivata to enhance healthcare identity security and access management.
Global identity security solution company SailPoint Technologies Inc. announced it has acquired Imprivata's identity governance and administration business. This is an acquisition intended to further extend SailPoint capabilities in the health care sector by offering a robust identity and access management solution to the industry. As part of the agreement, SailPoint has also entered a strategic go-to-market partnership with Imprivata aimed at providing high-end IAM solutions to health care organizations around the world.
With this strategic alliance, SailPoint and Imprivata shall combine their identity security solutions to offer a singular platform that will streamline IAM for healthcare providers. Upon this, SailPoint will support Imprivata's existing IGA customers with its business offering a well-structured transition plan through an option for migrating towards SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. This deal is a proof of the increasing demand for strong identity management solutions in the healthcare industry, which requires sensitive data security and regulatory compliance.
