Red Hat allows CSPs to scale AI operations with OpenShift in planned industry partnerships.
Red Hat is a key player in a new partnership with Amdocs and Dell Technologies that aims to update and accelerate network alteration as communication service providers (CSPs) hold AI-native operations. The firms presented a team effort at MWC 2025 that combines closed-loop automation, observability, and infrastructure telemetry to assist CSPs in simplifying operations, accelerating service delivery, and improving customer satisfaction.
At the heart of the solution is Red Hat OpenShift, a powerful application development platform that makes it easier to launch telco apps driven by AI. The transposition and MLOps tools required to develop, grow, and oversee intelligent network operations in hybrid multi-cloud systems are offered by Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift AI. David Kypuros, Red Hat's Global Principal Architect for AI in Telco, highlighted that the true value of AI in the telecom sector goes beyond simply deploying models, as it lies in developing healthy applications that address actual challenges.
The partnership makes use of Dell's Telecom Infrastructure Blocks, which are pre-integrated, pre-validated systems that comprise NVIDIA GPUs, OpenShift, and Dell automation tools. By making the application of cloud-native telecom infrastructure easier, these building blocks enable CSPs to scale swiftly and improve operational efficiency.
Red Hat's contributions guarantee that CSPs may use reliable, enterprise-grade technologies to create AI applications. OpenShift AI facilitates the development and implementation of models in a safe, scalable ecosystem by integrating with NVIDIA's NIMs platform. This tri-partner strategy gives CSPs an AIOps foundation that is prepared for the future. Amdocs supplies the orchestration, Dell supplies the infrastructure, and Red Hat supplies the agile software layer. Together, the solution offers a reliable path toward AI-driven operational excellence that is prepared to handle the demands of 5G Advanced and beyond.
