Juniper Networks empowers federal agencies with AI-Native Networking and secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
In a major advancement for federal IT modernization, Juniper Networks has achieved FedRAMP Moderate Authorization for its Juniper Mist Government Cloud platform. This milestone strengthens Juniper’s foothold in public sector networking and enables U.S. federal agencies to adopt secure, AI-powered cloud services confidently.
The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) approval, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, certifies that Juniper Mist meets stringent federal security requirements. Designed specifically for federal use, the solution includes secure wired and wireless networking, WAN, indoor location services, premium analytics, and the Marvis Virtual Network Assistant (VNA).
This authorization is a critical enabler for agencies navigating digital transformation. Built on a microservices cloud architecture, Juniper Mist offers elastic scale, enhanced resilience, and AI-Native Networking capabilities that simplify IT operations and improve service delivery. Marvis VNA uses machine learning to proactively detect and resolve network issues, reducing downtime and improving user experiences.
With nearly 80% of authorized cloud services falling under the "Moderate Impact" level, Juniper's certification opens the door for broader adoption across civilian, defense, and state and local government sectors that manage sensitive data or rely on federal funding.
"Juniper’s FedRAMP Authorization marks a significant milestone in delivering secure, cloud-first networking to federal agencies," said Greg Bourdelais, VP of Federal Sales. "It allows agencies to modernize IT with confidence while maintaining compliance."
This development supports Juniper’s mission to provide automated, resilient, and AI-driven network solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and security across mission-critical environments.
With a growing number of federal entities transitioning to cloud-first strategies, Juniper’s authorized offering is well-positioned to support evolving infrastructure needs—setting a new standard for intelligent networking in the public sector.
