Hyundai’s Career Experience Program recognized for fostering youth development and awareness in the automotive industry.

Hyundai Motor America has been honored with a Gold Merit Award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Human Resources category, recognizing the company's outstanding efforts in philanthropic initiatives and youth development. The award highlights Hyundai’s Career Experience Program, which plays a crucial role in introducing college students and middle schoolers to career opportunities within the automotive industry.

The Career Experience Program, a key initiative of Hyundai and its employee resource group, Amigos Unidos, aims to raise awareness about the diverse roles and career paths available in the automotive sector. The program gives students the opportunity to engage with Hyundai employees from various departments, participate in hands-on workshops, and gain insight into the broader scope of automotive careers. This initiative is designed to spark interest in automotive careers and empower the next generation of industry leaders.

Brandon Ramirez, director of corporate social responsibility at Hyundai Motor America, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, "This initiative is a testament to Hyundai's ongoing commitment to our local community and developing the future of the automotive workforce."

The Merit Awards, which evaluate submissions based on leadership, innovation, and positive work environments, saw Hyundai recognized for its impactful CSR work. Hyundai's dedication to fostering educational opportunities and career awareness underscores its long-term investment in community engagement and sustainable workforce development.

Hyundai Motor America continues to play a key role in the U.S. economy, with its operations contributing $20.1 billion annually and creating over 190,000 jobs across the country. As part of its mission to drive social responsibility, Hyundai remains dedicated to supporting the development of a skilled, diverse workforce within the automotive industry.
