DevRev’s new platform unifies product and customer data with AI, setting a new standard for SaaS solutions.

In August 2020, Dheeraj Pandey, founder of Nutanix, announced his departure from the company, which had significantly impacted the hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) landscape. Now, Pandey, along with Manoj Agarwal, is making waves with their new venture, DevRev.

DevRev aims to address the fragmentation in enterprise SaaS systems by integrating product and customer data through advanced AI and large language models (LLMs). Their platform, built on a comprehensive knowledge graph, allows seamless interaction between different SaaS tools, overcoming the limitations of traditional CRMs which often operate in silos.

“DevRev’s approach merges product development with customer feedback, using AI to unify and streamline data across departments,” says Pandey. This integration not only simplifies the complexities of SaaS but also enhances user experience through interactive and analytical apps designed for both desktop and mobile.

The platform employs WebAssembly and cloud data storage to deliver solid, cost-effective options. From small businesses to major corporations, DevRev serves a wide spectrum of customers by offering scalable solutions that were out of reach during the SaaS 1.0 period.

In his reflections on the development of Indian SaaS, Pandey highlights the difficulties in living up to enterprise-grade standards. The success of DevRev, which has facilities in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Mumbai and focuses heavily on frontend and backend development, highlights the increasing maturity of the Indian tech industry.
