Customers and non-customers can now pay GST at IDFC FIRST Bank branches through online banking.
IDFC FIRST Bank has introduced a new facility that allows both its customers and non-customers to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST) through various digital channels. This program seeks to increase tax payments' accessibility and convenience nationwide.
Customers of the bank can now use internet banking, credit cards, debit cards, and UPI to pay GST. Moreover, payments can be made through the bank's nationwide branch network through demand drafts, cheques or cash.This flexibility makes sure that taxpayers have multiple options to complete their transactions effortlessly.To allow the payment process, the bank provides easy access to downloadable challahs, allowing taxpayers to keep records of their dealings.This feature contributes to a more organized and efficient tax payment experience.
Ashish Singh, IDFC FIRST Bank's Head of Retail Liabilities celebrated the bank's dedication to offering its clients complete services. "GST payments can now be made by IDFC FIRST Bank customers and non-customers using UPI, credit, and debit cards," he said.
This improvement is a component of the bank's larger attempt to provide top-notch digital banking services and allow a continuous payment process for all taxpayers. IDFC FIRST Bank has repeated its commitment to providing complete financial services and universal banking solutions to the broader ecosystem by being one of the private sector banks allowed to collect GST.
