Diebold Nixdorf adopts Oracle AI cloud solutions to streamline global service and improve efficiency.
Oracle declared that Diebold Nixdorf which is a global leader in banking and retail technology has chosen Oracle Fusion Cloud Service and Oracle Fusion Cloud Field Service to update its global customer service operations.
Diebold Nixdorf, which serves the world’s top banks and retailers, selected Oracle’s AI-powered customer service applications to unify its service processes, improve productivity for field technicians and boost customer satisfaction. The move builds on Diebold Nixdorf’s successful use of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for finance and human resources.
Teresa Ostapower, Chief Information Officer at Diebold Nixdorf noted that the company has already improved efficiency in its finance and HR operations through Oracle Fusion Applications. She added that in order to better handle millions of service requests; Diebold Nixdorf is now expanding its use of Oracle products through the use of Oracle Cloud Service and Field Service. Ostapower claims that the incorporation of AI will allow the business to reduce operating expenses, improve reaction times and better satisfy the increasing demands of its client.
Using Oracle Cloud Service, Diebold Nixdorf can computerize complex workflows and introduce analytical maintenance by reducing downtime and improving reliability. Oracle Cloud Field Service helps dispatch and prepares mobile technicians more effectively by making sure faster service on the site.
Rob Pinkerton, Senior Vice President of Oracle Cloud CX stated that Diebold Nixdorf operates millions of devices across essential banking and retail environments. He highlighted that Oracle's AI-driven solutions are designed to help the company adjust and improve its service delivery operations.
Oracle Cloud CX is part of the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Suite and uses AI to help businesses improve customer interactions across service, sales and marketing. AI features support faster executive and better service outcomes. Diebold Nixdorf began working with Oracle Cloud and Field Service in March 2024.
