Dubai RTA and Cisco host symposium on quantum communication for smart infrastructure development.
Cisco is the world leader in networking and cyber security. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai along with cisco has hosted a specialized scientific symposium titled "Quantum Communication and Its Applications in Smart Infrastructure." Representatives from RTA's numerous technical and engineering departments, as well as participants from other organizations attended the session which included presenters with extensive knowledge of quantum communication.
The event highlighted significant research advancements and practical uses of this new technology with a focus on the fundamentals of quantum communication. In addition to offering insights from top worldwide research in the field, it covered a number of fundamental subjects such as the goals of quantum communication as an outline of quantum mechanics, quantum computing, quantum networks and quantum cyber security.
