BeyondTrust Names Sean Malone as New CISO to Strengthen Global Cybersecurity Leadership

Cybersecurity veteran to lead strategy, risk management, and innovation at BeyondTrust worldwide.

Top cybersecurity company BeyondTrust has appointed Sean Malone as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). With a tenure of more than 15 years in the cybersecurity space, Malone will be leading the company's global security initiatives. This includes protecting BeyondTrust products and services, addressing cyber threats, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing day-to-day security operations.

Sean Malone fills this important role with a high degree of technical expertise and leadership experience. He has experience in offensive security, cyber risk management, and executive-level strategy. He was responsible for global security operations in his last position at Demandbase, where he worked directly with company executives on risk and governance. His experience at Amazon Prime Video taught him to protect gigantic systems. He also contributed to enhancing cyber risk messaging in BitSight and VisibleRisk. Particularly, he has a U.S. patent on systems design for cyber resiliency assessment, which means that he is creative.
