India is to step into the era of connected cars in 2025 with 5G, M2M connectivity, AI, and cloud technologies, as the report goes on from India Connected Consumer Report 2025 by Techarc. The report suggests that the automobile sector will directly go for 5G, bypassing 4G in order to enhance the experience of cars of all prices in the automobile market.
According to the survey, people are more concerned with enhancing the functionality and quality of their cars than they are with adding additional smart devices to their collection. With an annual production of about 5 million passenger cars, India's automotive industry is expected to dominate the global 5G M2M market in the upcoming years. According to the report, 21% of respondents identified MG. Motors: 18% identified Kia Motors, and 15% identified Tata Motors as leaders in the connected car market in a study of 4,500 connected customers in both metro and non-metropolitan cities provided the basis for the report's conclusions.
