Track-Ready Performance Meets Road-Legal Elegance in Maserati’s Latest Marvel
At the 2024 Monterey Car Week in California, Maserati introduced its exhilarating new GT2 Stradale, a supercar that is set to thrill driving enthusiasts with its impressive blend of power and precision. This latest release was showcased alongside the Maserati MC20 Icona, marking its North American debut, and the exclusive track-only MCXtrema.
The GT2 Stradale, a road-legal variant of the GT2 revealed in July 2023, has undergone significant enhancements to elevate its performance. Equipped with the same 3.0-liter V6 ‘Nettuno’ engine, the Stradale generates a staggering 640 bhp—nearly 10 bhp more than its track-focused counterpart. However, its most remarkable feature is its weight reduction: the Stradale is 60 kg lighter than the MC20, making it exceptionally agile.
This lightweight design enables the GT2 Stradale to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds, reaching top speeds of up to 324 kmph. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, complemented by four driving modes: Corsa, Sport, GT, and Wet.
Inside, the GT2 Stradale mirrors the MC20’s sleek and modern cabin layout, highlighted by a rectangular infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. The interior is finished in luxurious Alcantara, consistent with high-end supercars. It features lightweight carbon-fiber racing seats available in two sizes, four-point seatbelts, and a sports steering wheel with carbon fiber paddle shifters, all contributing to a race-ready yet refined driving experience.
With its combination of speed, style, and sophistication, the Maserati GT2 Stradale is poised to make a powerful impact in the world of supercars.
