Gulf Oil Lubricants India (GOLIL), a key player in the Hinduja Group, is venturing into the specialized arena of data center cooling, marking a strategic move towards environmental sustainability. The company, well-regarded for its advanced fluid technology, is now focusing on this emerging sector with the potential to significantly reduce the environmental impact of data centers.
In a recent interview with CNBC-TV18, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and CEO of Gulf Oil Lubricants India, highlighted the company’s forward-looking approach. "Data center cooling may not be a massive market yet, but it offers considerable environmental benefits," Chawla remarked. He emphasized the opportunity for lubricant companies to innovate by using synthetic-based stocks to create effective solutions for this sector.
