Berger Paints India has chosen Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Aruba Networking's EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution to enhance its wide area network (WAN) across 160 branches in India, including data centers and headquarters. This strategic move is set to optimize network performance, enabling faster response times for critical business applications such as ERP and SharePoint.
The HPE Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN solution integrates WAN Optimization features, which reduce the amount of data sent over the WAN by over 50%, significantly improving the efficiency of IT operations, especially in remote and low-bandwidth branch locations. This results in a more seamless experience for Berger Paints’ employees, who can now access and query large ERP reports with minimal delays. The centralized control function of the SD-WAN solution ensures secure and intelligent traffic management across the WAN, enhancing the performance of SaaS and IaaS applications. Additionally, the built-in firewall improves the security of local internet breakouts over broadband, delivering a high-quality user experience while reducing IT costs by replacing traditional MPLS WAN links.
