The musical community has lost one of the greatest voices in soul music history, when Peabo Bryson, 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2021. He passed away from complications resulting from a stroke that had happened just days earlier. His family has confirmed and released a statement to People magazine saying they are grateful for the abundant outpouring of love support they have received from fans and friends around the world. "We are incredibly grateful for the love, prayers and support from our family, friends and fans around the globe," said Bryson's family in their statement to the press, "Although our hearts are broken, we are comforted by how much he was loved and how many lives he touched with his music and his kind spirit." During this very difficult time, family members surrounded Peabo, which also has given them comfort.
