Rinsch was convicted of wire fraud among other crimes, as prosecutors alleged that he had misappropriated additional funds provided for his work on "White Horse." Netflix reportedly invested about $44 million in the series before providing an additional $11 million when Rinsch asked for more money to finish production.
However, the funds were allegedly deposited into a private bank account of Rinsch, who spent them on expensive clothes and other luxury goods.
