World Gym partners with Philcos to sell fitness-inspired athleisure across major lifestyle retailers and online stores in 2026.
The global fitness company known for its past, World Gym Corporation, has established an exclusive merchandise distribution licensing agreement with Philcos. The partnership will bring premium gym-inspired apparel collections to major lifestyle retail stores and omni-channel shopping platforms across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Philcos will be designing, creating, and distributing World Gym-branded lines of apparel for customers of all ages and demographics, with emphasis on athleisure apparel, to different retail outlets including Abercrombie, La Maison Simons & Urban Outfitters, as well as other lifestyle retailers being added throughout 2026.
“We're thrilled to bring the World Gym experience beyond the gym walls into high-quality brand merchandise for those leading active lives,” said the President of World Gym, John Caraccio. “This is a very clear continuation of our commitment to fitness, strength and wellness.” Philcos’ vice president of licensing, George Meyer, explained that the legacy of World Gym in empowering individuals matches perfectly with the athleisure streetwear trend and the growing demand for casual performance wardrobe essentials. Philcos’ experience working with iconic brands will help ensure that this collection resonates with customers across multiple demographics.
By creating this collection, World Gym is able to build further momentum within the fitness lifestyle apparel market and to reach a much larger audience than might have previously encountered the brand as part of their daily lives. With the combination of fitness, fashion and culture, World Gym is changing how the community connects to the brand and creating a style statement for its members that will elevate their workouts and wellness. Business Honor is of the view that the new line of clothing captures the increase in interest towards premium gym-focused apparel collections, which shows that fitness brands are tapping into athleisure fashion trends of 2026 to gain a larger impact in the overall lifestyle industry by 2026.
