Rob Williamson joins Rampart as CRO, driving sales growth and adoption of lead-free radiation safety solutions nationwide.
Rampart, an innovative manufacturer of lead-free radiation safety equipment for the interventional cardiology space based in Birmingham, Alabama, has appointed Rob Williamson as Chief Revenue Officer. Before joining Rampart as CRO, Williamson was on Rampart's Board of Directors. Before this, he held numerous commercial leadership roles in medical devices over 25 years including Senior Commercial Leader at Medtronic, Covidien, Evans Surgical, FoxHollow, and Bard Medical Device.

According to Williamson, "As a member of the Board of Directors of Rampart, I am looking forward to being the leader of the Rampart sales team and bringing Rampart's leading radiation safety solutions to more clinicians and healthcare organizations across the country." He recently served as Vice President of Sales at Shockwave Medical, building and leading a highly successful Field Sales Team of more than 300 employees, driving more than $500 million in annual total revenue. At Rampart, Rob will be focused on leading the ramp-up (scaling) of U.S. direct sales teams in high-growth medical technology categories & growing & developing the company’s revenue as well as using existing customer relationships across hospitals & health systems through strategic customer acquisition strategies.
Rampart's radiation attenuating products reduce more than 99% of scatter radiation and incorporate zero wearable weight, which helps to alleviate orthopedic strain for the clinician's body from using traditional lead aprons while providing freedom to perform any procedure in an interventional suite.
