New financing option empowers collectors in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa to unlock liquidity from their prized vehicles.
The J.P. Morgan Private Banking Division has announced that they are now offering a new type of loan product; an auto loan that enables collectors to secure loans against their collection of antique, rare or custom designed automobiles located in select countries within Europe. This innovative loan product was created specifically for qualified collectors who want to access liquidity from the vehicles they love. The specialist lender stated, "The passion that drives collectors to collect cars and invest in this type of asset often goes hand in hand with each other." By unlocking liquidity from their automobile collections, collectors can pursue the things and experiences that motivate them while also achieving their financial objectives.
According to Folarin Oyeleye, Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Lending Solutions at J.P. Morgan, the classic car culture in this part of the world have had a very long tradition and continue to be innovative today. "Classic car collection and ownership have many aspects of tradition blended with those of originality, resulting in private collections from some of the most successful collectors in the world," stated Oyeleye. "In addition, classic and rare automobiles represent a unique category of investment for collectors as they help preserve collectors' wealth and provide a diversification opportunity for their investment portfolios." J.P. Morgan Private Bank developed an automobile collection-financing product designed specifically for clients who have invested in a variety of asset classes.
The vehicle will be appraised, insured, and documented according to established criteria that allow clients to maintain their flexibility and safeguard their collections. The product is available to clients in all of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; however, there is a specific focus on supporting clients whose automobile collections are located in England and Wales, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Spain. This new product is representative of J.P. Morgan Private Bank's dedication to assisting clients in the intersection of their passion for collecting and the financial aspects of collection.
