Actress Drew Barrymore showcased her exclusive launch of the “Beautiful” collection on Wednesday at the Makro Store in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ‘Beautiful’ collection is a range of small kitchen appliances that have efficient performance with a sleek aesthetic design. The launch was facilitated by Massmart, a South African company that owns and operates major local retail chains, giving local shoppers access to world-class home products through global sourcing capabilities of its parent company, Walmart. Actress, producer and entrepreneur Drew Barrymore founded the collection and has earned international praise for its premium development and artistry combined with modern style and beauty and signature soft pastel color tones.

The brand is set to redefine the kitchen experience, concluding that home essentials can be as stylish as they are practical. “We’re thrilled to introduce the ‘Beautiful’ by Drew Barrymore collection to South Africa. The product range, which includes an elegant assortment of air fryers, kettles, blenders, toasters, and stand mixers, reflects our commitment to bringing customers high-quality products that are both beautiful and built to perform,” stated Abbey Sathiasilen, Makro’s Electronics and Appliances Buyer, at the exhibition.

The farmhouse-inspired wildflower colorway range of designs showcase delicate floral patterns set against a matte backdrop on the Gooseneck, a limited edition electric kettle, has dropped the jaws of Drew Barrymore’s fans. Sathiasilen added that he spent over two years bringing the collection to South Africa. The future plans for Drew Barrymore’s ‘Beautiful’ collection will be focused on expanding its offerings beyond the kitchen and increasing its availability to customers globally. The line will be available in Makro stores starting November 15, 2025.
