New leaders drive sales, strategy, and operations to boost Kia India’s market presence and success.
Two seasoned executives have been added to Kia India's leadership team to assist propel growth and enhance operations in the cutthroat Indian auto industry. Joonsu Cho has assumed the position of Chief Business Officer (CBO), while Sunhack Park has been appointed Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Sunhack Park has 28 years of international automobile industry experience. He will manage Kia India's sales policy, including market expansion, improved operational efficiency, and developing stronger relationships with dealers and partners. Also, Park has worked in the Middle East, Africa, and India.
Joonsu Cho has been a leader in overseas markets like Australia, the UK, and Europe for more than 32 years. The complete business strategy of Kia India, including production scheduling, export logistics, departmental partnership, and forming planned alliances, would fall under Cho's purview as Chief Business Officer. Supporting operational excellence and sustainable growth will be his main priorities. Both leaders were excited about their new positions. Park showed how important it is to increase Kia's market share in a rapidly evolving industry by increasing sales and restructuring operations. Cho underlined the objective of creating solid business plans that will support Kia India's ongoing wealthy expansion.
Since starting manufacturing at its Anantapur plant in 2019, Kia India has developed into a major player in the Indian auto sector. Famous models including the EV6, EV9, Sonet, Carens Clavis, and Seltos are among the 1.5 million cars it has shipped to date. The company has approximately 470,000 vehicles in its connected car ecosystem and maintains 796 sales locations throughout 360 cities. Kia India remains dedicated to modernization, customer attention, and long lasting success in the Indian automotive industry notwithstanding recent leadership changes.
