AVPro Edge has launched a new series of ConferX Wall Plates aimed at simplifying connectivity in BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environments. The low-profile wall plates simplify the ability for users to easily connect laptops to conference room TVs, cameras, and microphones with one cable. The new range is perfect for conference rooms, huddle rooms, and universities, providing flexible solutions that guarantee higher resolution for easy and professional meetings.

The ConferX Wall Plates are available in various configurations to suit different connectivity requirements, such as USB-C, HDMI, a combination of both, and even a dual HDMI. The plates are introduced to make the setup easy for users with efficient connections without the need to handle a host of cables. Through the incorporation of HDBaseT technology, the wall plates deliver high-quality and reliable signal transmission, which enables users to experience smooth AV performance for long distances, with certain models offering up to 300 feet (100 meters) of HDMI connectivity.

These wall plates aim to deliver a high-performance, ease-of-use solution for BYOD applications, says Matt Murray, CTO at AVPro Edge. He noted that these low-profile plates enable AV integrators to provide superior performance and flexibility and are a great fit for today's workspaces. The top model has a USB-C port, allowing users to plug an external laptop into conference room peripherals such as displays, cameras, and microphones with just a single cable. These plates also have auto-sensing inputs that automatically identify whether or not a device has been connected, making it even easier to set up. LED status lights offer instant cues about the presence of the signal for an unobstructed user experience.
