XENOptics’ automated Smart Optical Switches received two major awards, advancing reliability, zero-touch optical networks for telecommunication, data centers, and security applications.
XENOptics, a leader in zero-touch optical networking, has received two major awards at Interop Tokyo. Company's Smart Optical Switch (XSOS) technology earned the Shownet Best of Show Runner-Up title along with the Interop Judges' Special Prize.
These awards show how automation in fiber networks is growing increasingly important. ShowNet, Interop's extensive live shows network that examines goods in the real world in demanded settings, includes XENOptics' XSOS units. Automation, reliability, and efficiency of the switches were shown. Along with partner Senko Advanced Components, XENOptics demonstrated its latest innovations that include the new Compact Smart Optical Switch (CSOS), XSOS 576D Duplex, and XSOS 288 Simplex. With its small form factor, the CSOS can fit up to 144 duplex connectors. Each form has field-replaceable modules for easy maintenance, robotic remote shifting, and passive connection for reliability.
Solomon Sokolovsky, COO and co-founder of XENOptics, stated, "These awards show automated fiber networks are not simply the future—rather, they are happening instantly." Sokolovsky added, "We love collaborating with Senko to offer optical networks that are more intelligent, quicker, and more efficient." Data centers, security applications, and telecommunications are already using XENOptics' technology. By controlling and automating physical fiber connections, the switches help network operators in reducing worker effort and improving response times.
XENOptics, founded in 2016, develops its solutions at an advanced plant and offers worldwide assistance to customers. XENOptics experience in automated Layer 0 structures offers an improved approach for handling the foundation of digital communication and is further strengthened by the Interop Tokyo awards. Making global connections faster, stronger, and more secure for the future.
