Surgimate Appoints Jessica Cook as Chief Revenue Officer

Surgimate hires Jessica Cook as Chief Revenue Officer to fuel growth and deepen customer relationships.

Surgimate, a leading creator of surgical scheduling and coordination software in the U.S., has appointed Jessica Cook Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Cook will oversee all of the company's diversified business lines' sales and marketing efforts that include surgical scheduling, medical device coordination, and patient access.

As CRO, Cook will be tasked primarily with increasing revenue growth, enhancing customer retention, and working closely with Surgimate CEO Kraig Brown to execute tactics that grow the business. Her hire is a continuation of the company's strategy to build closer relationships with customers and broadens the company's reach in the market.

Surgimate CEO Kraig Brown was optimistic about Cook's leadership of the company to new heights as he opined, "Jessica brings a proven track record of driving revenue growth with smart, people-first strategies. Her leadership in the healthcare IT sector will be key to Surgimate's continued success as we broaden our reach and deepen our customer relationships."

Cook has been an executive leader and salesman for healthcare software for more than 15 years. Her most recent job was with Azalea Health, a cloud-based platform for revenue cycle management and electronic health records, as Senior Vice President of Sales. Cook oversaw Azalea's nationwide expansion, which over the past ten years has had an exceptional average compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 35%.
