Nokia and Converge advance data centers for computing power, automation, and AI, allowing resilient, flexible, and effective digital infrastructure.
Nokia strengthens its partnership with Converge ICT Solutions by introducing its advanced Data Center Fabric service in the Philippines. With this advancement, Converge's data centers will be able to satisfy the rising demands of automation, computing power (HPC), and artificial intelligence (AI).
The Event-Driven Automation (EDA) and SR-Linux network operating system (NOS) platforms support Nokia's 7220 Interconnect Router (IXR), that's at the center of the update. Excellent performance is offered, network activities become simpler, and environmentally friendly, and a cost-effective structure is supported by this combination. Nokia highlights that the EDA system supports reducing the use of computing power while maintaining stable network performance that is necessary for managing AI tasks.
Networking capacity, adaptability, and legal compliance will all be increased by the updated infrastructure, especially for needs related to national clouds. 7220 IXR is excellent to handle future AI-powered services as it provides huge connectivity. Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO and co-founder of Converge, highlighted the importance of systems that have been built for the future: "We're experiencing an increasing need for AI servers and integrating with existing systems. Our network requires being equipped to handle intelligent and automated services."
Nokia has made previous attempts in the area. Similar project with Maxis, a telecom carrier in Malaysia, highlighted how the Data Center Fabric can improve connection and simplify operations. Nokia intends to contribute greatly to the development of the data center infrastructure in the Philippines in the future.
Vice President and Head of IP Networks, Asia Pacific at Nokia, Kent Wong stated, "Our services are designed for the AI era." "We are laying the foundation for the nation's digital transformation." Nokia-Converge connection places the Philippines in an ideal position to create intelligent, reliable, and accessible networks that will be capable of supporting a technologically advanced future as AI keeps transforming economies and businesses.
