RJ Corp appoints Amit Nayak as COO, aiming to strengthen the presence of Nike India in the growing demand for fitness and sportswear.

Amit Nayak has been appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of RJ Corp Retail to strengthen Nike's presence in the growing sportswear industry in India. Nayak will handle operations, strategy, and customer experience for the company's Nike business.

As India's sportswear and athleisure sectors are expanding quickly due to growing interest in fitness and quality sportswear, Nayak taking charge gives an important turn for RJ Corp, where his strong skills in consumer research and brand building will help Nike grow its presence in India. Nayak had served the retail sector for more than 12 years and has an excellent record of developing and growing brands. Being the business head of Umbro at Reliance Retail and Performax before joining RJ Corp. In that role, he managed all aspects of product development, purchasing, sales, and marketing on offline as well as online platforms. His efforts led to a complete and successful retail strategy that improved customer engagement and popularity of the brand.

Nike's franchising company in India since 2012 has been RJ Corp, a significant international business company. It currently operates 41 Nike stores in Tier II areas and major towns, providing the finest sportswear and footwear to a wide customer base. With Nayak’s appointment, Nike aims to increase its presence in India.
