Innodisk unveils its high-performance PCIe Gen5 SSD series, optimized for next-gen data centers with AI, big data, and virtualization demands.
Innodisk, the market leader in industrial-grade flash storage, today released its new PCIe Gen5 SSD series that delivers to the growing requirements of data center use cases, particularly in AI model training, big data analysis, and high-throughput computing. The newly developed SSDs are constructed in compliance with the OCP Data Center NVMe SSD Specification v2.0 and represent a key milestone in Innodisk's entry into next-generation enterprise storage solutions.
The new PCIe Gen5 SSD family includes support for diverse form factors like U.2, EDSFF E1.S, E3.S, and newest E3.L, offering compatibility with a vast array of data center infrastructures. The configurations overcome the evolving storage architecture of enterprise-sized deployments with scalability as well as flexibility.
Powered by the PCIe Gen 5 x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 protocol, the SSDs offer fast data transfer rates of up to 14GB/s read and 10GB/s write with up to 128TB storage capacity. Appropriate to handle big data with less delay and more rates, this upper-end model proves to be good for modern time data center operations.
In recognition of the complexity of storage management at the enterprise level, Innodisk advocates NVMe-MI (Management Interface) for batch and out-of-band SSD management and multi-namespace support to support multi-tenant and virtualized storage. Such features simplify operation in storage systems that are layered.
Security is the priority, with features such as Secure Boot to provide firmware integrity validation for update, securing against unauthorized access and secure deployment. Additionally, Innodisk emphasizes stringent firmware compatibility and customization to provide seamless integration with VMware and other leading data center platforms.
With its new PCIe Gen5 SSD lineup, Innodisk is reaffirming its vision of innovation, scalability, and performance to help data centers keep pace with the constantly increasing demands of the digital era.
