Veteran HR leader to spearhead cultural transformation and support global expansion goals.

Comviva, a world leader in AI-powered digital solutions and smart platforms, has appointed Bhagwati Shetty as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The strategic hire follows Comviva's deepening of its transformation agenda under the "Comviva 2.0" vision and its growth acceleration in top global markets, such as Europe and North America.

Having over 16 years of experience spanning across various industries like manufacturing, technology, telecom, and financial services, Bhagwati has a high record of success in cultural transformation, people leadership, and strategic HR alignment. She has earlier served in leadership positions at key organizations like Mahindra Group, Vodafone India, Wipro, and Cummins India, where she played a pivotal role in steering diversity, equity, and inclusion, and shaping future leadership talent.

Speaking on her new appointment, Bhagwati Shetty said she was committed to creating a high-performance and inclusive work culture. Bhagwati was greeted into her new role by Comviva CEO Rajesh Chandiramani, who highlighted the importance of her efforts in aligning HR strategy with the evolving goals of the company. "Bhagwati's vision will play a pivotal role in establishing a people-first culture that advances our worldwide vision as Comviva evolves into an AI-first organization," he said.

Based in India, Comviva counts more than 130 communication service providers and financial institutions in over 100 countries as its customers. Comviva is a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra and forms part of the Mahindra Group.
