DS Group appoints Subrat Chakravarty as CHRO to drive strategic growth and digital HR transformation across enterprise.
The appointment of Subrat Chakravarty as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) within the company's corporate area is an important addition to the executive team of Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a leading Indian conglomerate in fast-moving merchandise (FMCG) and diversified business operations. This was announced by the DS Group via press release on Monday and follows a successful recruitment campaign led by the firm's HR team. Subrat Chakravarty has over 30 years of experience in human resource development and has held senior HR positions in many global companies such as HCL Technologies, Aon Hewitt, L&T Infotech, IPCL, and Bata India. The experience of Subrat Chakravarty will provide the DS Group with a unique perspective to assist in achieving its strategic growth plans.
Chakravarty has taken on a new position as the head of the HR Department and will be leading the digital transformation agenda for people and processes for the Group. Chakravarty is expected to be an expert on talent management, organization design and strategic operations of HR, and to leverage this expertise to develop and implement critical programs for the Group.
