Zenith has launched its new watch, the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton, during the LVMH Watch Week in New York, continuing to expand its creative young collection. With its contemporary vintage look, the watch combines top-of-the-line mechanisms with streamlined aesthetics, making it a desirable item for both collectors and watch aficionados.

The 42mm-diameter steel cases have an octagonal shape, a nod to Zenith's heritage, but the watch itself is highly contemporary in its mechanics. Openwork construction permits the highly detailed movement to be seen through the front and rear of the watch, giving the watch a work of art quality. The star motif, for Zenith, is discreetly incorporated in the watch's design with platinum bridges and openworked elements.

Practically, Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton boasts three counters rimmed with metal. Situated at the 9, 6, and 3 o'clock marks, the counters are used for running seconds, chronograph minutes, and chronograph seconds. It is all driven by caliber 3600SK, an oscillating star-shaped weight powering high-frequency (5hz) self-winding movement that promotes accuracy and dependability. Its chronograph mode makes it a matter of functional excellence as well as form.

The watch is easily wearable due to an interchangeable bracelet system. Customers have the option of a steel link bracelet or a rubber strap, both of which complement the dial for a unified appearance. The watch finishes with a folding clasp for comfort and security for the wearer.
