Partnership enhances cargo tracking, visibility, and efficiency using advanced LoRaWAN IoT networks worldwide.
Netmore Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Zenze, a leading supply chain management and visibility solutions provider, to develop economical wireless infrastructure for monitoring and tracking cargo use. The action is aimed at revolutionizing logistics operations in ports, terminals, distribution centers, warehouses, and cargo owner facilities worldwide.
Relying on Netmore's next-generation IoT network infrastructure, Zenze offers customized LoRaWAN networks and data services for tracking refrigerated cargo, dry cargo, and other containers and assets. The acquisition enhances visibility in the supply chain by way of real-time monitoring and location tracking of the key points along the logistics chain.
At this stage of the partnership, Netmore and Zenze are rolling out LoRaWAN networks in partnership with terminals and ports on the Cargo Visibility Network (CVN). This specialized network infrastructure is specifically designed to support cargo visibility services to improve shipping and logistics efficiencies.
In future stages, the collaboration will launch an ecosystem of optimized sensors and devices tailored to run on Netmore's network. These cost-efficient and eco-friendly Internet of Things devices will provide real-time monitoring, condition monitoring, surveillance, and security solutions. With cost minimization and enhanced availability, the project seeks to develop IoT solutions in a more sustainable and adoption-oriented manner in port logistics.
With the volumes of global shipping on the rise, real-time information is becoming critical to enhancing business efficiencies. Smarter, more intelligent port infrastructure is now a requirement," explained Stephan Piworus, CEO of Zenze.
Ove Anebygd, Netmore Group CEO, highlighted the importance of the alliance by noting, "By linking into the Zenze Cargo Visibility Network, ports will have access to rich data and analytics, enabling smarter decision-making, greater transparency, and a more responsive logistics process.
This partnership is a big leap towards streamlining port operations, making the logistics of international trade more efficient and resilient.
