LivaNova names Natalia Kozmina as CHRO to strengthen HR strategy and organizational culture.
LivaNova PLC (Nasdaq: LIVN), a medical technology company, announced that Natalia Kozmina has been named its new CHRO, reporting to CEO Vladimir Makatsaria, effective January 14. In her position, Kozmina will head global human resources and join the Executive Leadership Team.
Kozmina comes with a great deal of human resources leadership experience in the medtech and life sciences industries. Before joining LivaNova, she had worked for Convatec Group PLC, a global medical technologies company in London and constituent of the FTSE 100 Index as Executive Vice President and CHRO. While working at Convatec, Kozmina developed and implemented best-in-class talent strategies and influenced transformational organizational culture building and strengthening leadership capabilities. Other senior HR leadership roles are also part of her career experiences in Iron Mountain and Smiths Group.

Kozmina, who will be based in Italy, has over 25 years of global leadership experience in highly regulated industries. She has held leadership roles at companies such as Abbott Laboratories, DuPont Merck, and Bristol-Myers Squibb in the pharmaceutical industry.

Kozmina holds an MBA from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and postgraduate degrees in Chemistry from The Ohio State University and M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University.
