FincFriends has appointed Sunil Kumar Dinodiya as its new Chief Information Security Officer to enhance cybersecurity, ensure compliance, and build customer trust.
The captive non-banking financial company, FincFriends - affiliated to RupeeRedee, recently appointed Sunil Kumar Dinodiya as the new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this position, he would look toward compliance improvement, protection of digital assets, and trying to build greater confidence with customers.
With over 16 years of IT and cybersecurity experience, Sunil brings deep expertise into areas such as application security, cloud security, risk management, data privacy, and governance. His extensive background includes proficiency in IS audits and familiarity with global security frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, NIST, and COSO. As a CISO, he will lead FincFriends' information security strategy and lead security practices for the company.

For his responsibilities, Sunil will manage RBI compliance, IT security enhancement, and reduction of risk. Besides that, he will create relationships with various regulatory bodies and fine-tune security strategies.
He previously held key positions at Oxane Partners, Truebalance, HCL Group, and Tech Mahindra before joining FincFriends, primarily focusing on IT security assessments, compliance, and risk management.
