Dwelly acquires Gallant Richardson to expand its AI-driven lettings platform and transform the UK property market.

Dwelly-the AI-enabled letting platform-accelerated a strategic expansion acquisition of the local Gallant Richardson lettings agency to enhance their market share in the United Kingdom's booming property market. Dwelly noted its second in a series of recent acquisitions for the company's portfolio, completing the purchase of Lime Property chain for September. Operating 450 units in Colchester, Dwelly is poised to bring its futuristic technology to fundamentally change the traditional property model.

The acquisition shall aid Dwelly in its cause to transform the UK property sector more significantly towards technologically advanced solutions like artificial intelligence (AI). Adding AI-driven solution platforms will eliminate complex processes associated with tenant application processes, identification, lease signings, and continuing maintenance of property issues, raising service quality from the perspective of the tenant as well as landlords.

Dwelly's CEO and co-founder, Ilya Drozdov, said that this acquisition is part of the company's broader strategy to modernize the real estate industry. He added, "This acquisition is another step towards revolutionizing the real estate sector, helping traditional agencies to overcome their inefficiencies through intelligent automation." Dwelly previously reduced time to rent by 80% during its buyout of Lime Property, and Drozdov aims to replicate these results with Gallant Richardson.

A market once frequently criticized as a laggard in embracing technology, UK property is rapidly changing, and Dwelly is using acquisitions to propel its growth. Dwelly would not only integrate other agencies into its fold but also give them AI engines that help streamline their operations and leave room for the business to grow while Dwelly takes care of the complex operational issues.

Dwelly’s leadership team brings expertise from major tech and consulting firms, including Uber and McKinsey, ensuring the company’s strategic vision is backed by experienced professionals. The acquisition of Gallant Richardson is expected to drive further innovation in the lettings sector, as Dwelly continues to push the boundaries of PropTech.
