Global leader in language and AI solutions inaugurates state-of-the-art facility with notable Indian figures.
TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and AI solutions for global business, has officially opened its latest audio production studio in Pune, India. This new facility is part of the company's ongoing efforts to strengthen its global network, which now includes over 35 studios across 21 countries.
The TransPerfect Media studio in Pune is a cutting-edge facility designed to offer comprehensive media localization and production services. Featuring two Dolby 2.1 studios and a 5.1 mixing studio, the studio is equipped with advanced capabilities to meet the high standards of broadcast, OTT platforms, and theatrical productions. The studio also has the capacity for future upgrades to 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos, ensuring it stays at the forefront of audio production technology.
The inauguration event was marked by an appearance from Dr. Mohan Agashe, a renowned psychiatrist, actor, and Pune native. Dr. Agashe, a Padma Shri award recipient and veteran of the Indian film industry, presided over the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony and delivered a speech about how technological advancements are reshaping human interaction. Later, singer and music composer Shekhar Sen, also a Padma Shri recipient, participated in the inauguration by lighting a ceremonial lamp and recording in the 5.1 studio.
Phil Shawe, President and Co-CEO of TransPerfect, emphasized the significance of the new Pune facility in TransPerfect’s continued expansion of its media production and localization services. “This new studio reflects our commitment to advancing media production in India and strengthening our global service offerings,” Shawe said.
The Pune studio will serve as a key hub for TransPerfect’s growing media services, offering clients access to state-of-the-art audio production for a wide range of media platforms.
