Limited-time Decades Menu brings joy to Taco Bell enthusiasts with five classic items, priced under $3.
What fans will love is that it re-releases some previously very popular items on Taco Bell's limited-time-only menu, dubbed the Decades Menu. The rollout marks a nostalgic move - Halloween marked the beginning for both old and new taco faithfuls.
Also coming back are the Meximelt, which launched in the 1980s. At $2.99, it is one of the favorite fan-favorite items featuring seasoned beef, pico de gallo, and a mix of mozzarella, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheese all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. As Taco Bell would describe, it is more than a food item; it's a connection to those memories and its heritage.
There's the Decades Menu consisting of five items, each from a different decade, and $3 or less. Beginning October 31, you can get:
- Tostada (1960s): A layered delight featuring refried beans, red sauce, crispy lettuce, and shredded cheese, priced at $2.19.
- Green Sauce Burrito (1970s): Filled with refried beans, onions, and a vibrant green sauce, available for $2.49.
- Gordita Supreme (1990s): A flatbread wrap with seasoned beef, reduced-fat sour cream, and a cheese blend, also priced at $2.99.
- Caramel Apple Empanada (2000s): Launching on November 21, this sweet treat boasts a crispy exterior filled with apple and creamy caramel for $2.99.
Taco Bell's efforts to reconnect with its history through the Decades Menu highlight the enduring appeal of its classic items, which resonate with customers across generations. As the fast-food industry continues to evolve, this strategy offers a nostalgic touch that could boost customer engagement and satisfaction, inviting both longtime fans and newcomers to experience these delightful flavors.
