NIKE appoints Treasure Heinle as CHRO, succeeding Monique Matheson, effective January 6, 2025.

NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE) announced today that Treasure Heinle will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), reporting to John Donahoe, President and Chief Executive Officer, January 6, 2025. Heinle is currently Chief Talent Officer for the company. She will lead the global HR function and drive NIKE's People vision and strategy. She takes over for Monique Matheson, who is retiring after 26 years of working for the company.

Treasure is a rounded leader who has successfully worked across all aspects of the HR function throughout her long career," said Elliott Hill, NIKE President & CEO. "She has a strong record of bringing the best to NIKE, driving a winning culture, and building inclusive, world-class teams that deliver on the company's growth strategy."

As an SLT member, Heinle will directly report to Hill. Heinle started at NIKE in 2012 as Vice President of HR Business Partner for North America. She eventually headed Business HR for the company's Global Operations and Global Consumer & Marketplace teams before being promoted as Chief Talent Officer in 2022. Prior to joining NIKE, Heinle held several leadership positions in human resources at Danaher, Tektronix, and In-Focus. Heinle is an Oregon native, and he received his degree from the University of Oregon.

Monique Matheson joined NIKE in 1998 and took on numerous HR leadership roles before becoming CHRO in 2017. Hill recognized Matheson's substantial contributions when he said, "Throughout her career, Monique has been dedicated to building a best-in-class workplace and making NIKE a great place to work for top talent." NIKE thanked Matheson for her service and wished her all the best as she enters retirement.
