The IoTAA will host its annual event in Sydney to talk about the ongoing trends of IoT
This year, the IoT Alliance Australia (IoTAA) will host its annual State of the Nation on November 14, 2024, in Sydney. Industry experts and thought leaders are to meet and discuss the current state of the IoT industry in Australia. Held in sponsorship with Digital Twinning Australia and at the Sydney CIC Centre, Telstra from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, it will end with networking session, drinks, and canapés.
Attendees can therefore look forward to an engaging evening of key trends, challenges, and opportunities surrounding real-time data, AI, IoT, and cloud technologies from experts through discussions. Keynote State of the Nation address to be delivered by IoTAA CEO, Frank Zeichner is set to present the stage for an exploration of the latest research findings that benchmark IoT adoption and its impact on Australia's economic and climate goals.
Critical issues addressed through panel discussions include "Achieving Data and Digital Trustworthiness," with Dr. Ian Oppermann from ServiceGen and UTS moderating, featuring speaker Peter Leonard from Data Synergies. A further session on creating a national plan for trusted quantitative data to assist net-zero and nature-positive transitions will be moderated by Judy Anderson, IoTAA chair, with Derryn Heilbuth of BWD and Gabriella Warden from CMI. Moderated by Emeritus professor from UTS, Roy Green, is a session called "Real-Time Measurement and Tracking for Climate-Related Disclosure," with speakers from Microsoft and Digital Twinning Australia.
This event promises to be a crucial moment for collaboration and innovation in Australia's IoT sector.
