Biennial Paris Auto Show Returns, Unveiling Cutting-Edge Electric Vehicles and Innovative Technologies
Car enthusiasts flocked up this week at the Porte de Versailles in Paris to witness one week of electric vehicle (EV) innovation at the biennial auto show. The company has also gone on to launch a "voiture à vivre" electric crossover SUV, the 4 E-Tech Electric, boasting a roomy 1,045-litre trunk. Improved models for Citroen comprise such new products as C4, C4X, multi-energy C5 Air Cross - with a presented upgraded Ami microcar.
From Germany, BMW had a reworked MINI John Cooper Works featuring an electric power boost mode known as the "go-kart mode." The new electric NeueKlasse also drew my attention to promise a really hi-tech driving experience with projected information and personal AI assistance.
Chinese manufacturers drew attention, announcing the Leapmotor B10 compact SUV with advanced driver assistance and a digital cockpit. XPeng presented its P7+, claiming this is the first "AI-defined" vehicle in the world-learning user behavior and providing autonomous assistance.
It also presented some fantastic green technology, such as license-free electric microcars, which included Renault's Duo and Bento, for young people, and also featured a 100%-green e-plane.
