Acquisition strengthens TransPerfect’s position in HR tech, offering enhanced global payroll and compliance solutions.
TransPerfect, the world’s largest provider of language and AI solutions, announced its acquisition of Paybooks Technologies, a leading provider of cloud-based HR, payroll, and compliance solutions. This strategic acquisition will enhance TransPerfect’s ability to offer seamless global workforce management, improving the employee lifecycle experience for organizations worldwide.
Founded in 2012, Paybooks specializes in a comprehensive all-in-one system that simplifies HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, benefits, compliance, leave management, and more. Its cloud-based platform also includes reporting and analytics features to streamline operations for employers, alongside a self-service portal for employees. The acquisition enables TransPerfect to integrate Paybooks’ capabilities into its suite of solutions, further enhancing its global reach and technological offerings.
Paybooks’ leadership, including CEO Samira Rao, COO Gururaja Upendra, and CPO Prakash Kumar, will continue to lead the company under the TransPerfect umbrella. All Paybooks employees will be retained, ensuring continuity and the same high-quality service for existing customers.
