According to the latest ‘SME Digital Insights’ report by Tata Tele Business Services (TTBS) and Cyber Media Research (CMR), 33% of healthcare SMEs are leveraging big data analytics to enhance diagnostic capabilities, while 31% are turning to artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline operations and accelerate drug discovery. The study also highlights that 40% of healthcare SMEs believe cloud adoption will improve security compliance.
Cloud technology is at the core of this digital transformation, offering healthcare and pharmaceutical SMEs the tools to optimize costs, secure sensitive data, and enhance overall efficiency. For instance, TTBS implemented an MPLS-based Smart VPN for a diagnostic company, ensuring seamless connectivity across its dispersed branches, and provided a pharmaceutical company with a scalable MPLS Hub and Spoke topology to secure and streamline communication between its Indian and German locations.
