Karnataka is all set to consolidate its position as a leader in nanotechnology research in the Bangalore India Nano 2024 conference, which is scheduled to take place from March 1 to 3. The state’s ambition to be a hub for innovation and Karnataka’s reputation as an industry-friendly state was highlighted by the Science and Technology Minister NS Boseraju.

The event, conducted by the Science and Technology Department of the Government of Karnataka in association with the Karnataka Science and Technology Development Association and the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Advanced Scientific Research, seeks to highlight the latest developments in nanotechnology. The conference with over 700 attendees and 75 keynote speakers will cover topics such as "Nanotechnology for Sustainable Climate, Energy, and Healthcare." The minister emphasized Karnataka’s Research and Development friendly environment and stressed the state government's commitment to support innovation and encourage creativity. To support new businesses and provide the public and private sectors with access to research outcomes, the government has adopted various initiatives such as Karnataka State Research Foundation (KSRF) and the Karnataka Research Development Innovation Forum (e-KRDIP).
