Yotta Data Services and IntelliDB Enterprise have partnered to deliver an AI-ready database platform on Yotta’s sovereign cloud, targeting enterprises and government bodies that need AI workloads while keeping sensitive data within India. This collaboration enhances the sovereign AI database infrastructure in India, offering organizations an AI-ready PostgreSQL database platform.
It provides Yotta's sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure together with the PostgreSQL database management platform and vector database from IntelliDB Enterprise. This enables application modernization, generative AI and agentic AI workloads along with data residency and regulatory considerations.
As enterprises move AI projects into production, data infrastructure becomes essential, especially in their production phase. In order to run generative AI and agentic applications, data infrastructure needs both structured data and vector embeddings.
The partnership between Yotta and IntelliDB includes the development of a Database-as-a-Service platform to be run entirely from India. This allows customers to use their enterprise applications along with their AI workloads without sending sensitive data out of the country.
Some features of the platform include availability, automation, security, and managed services. The partnership further extends Yotta’s offering of sovereign AI infrastructure solutions that range from sovereign cloud, GPU infrastructure, AI model services, and AI platforms to the database services required for AI applications.

The solution provides a migration path for conventional PostgreSQL workloads to AI-powered applications. Through this partnership, databases, cloud infrastructure, and AI can coexist within an Indian-hosted ecosystem.
