AWS Database has recently unveiled key enhancements to their database deployment strategies, which have been developed in order to facilitate the development of agentic AI applications along with cloud migration difficulties among enterprise customers. In addition to other changes, AWS Database has introduced durability for Amazon ElastiCache for Valkey and the ability to bring your own media in licensing Amazon RDS for SQL Server.

Businesses will only have to provide the SQL Server installation media on Amazon S3, while AWS License Manager will take care of license compliance monitoring.
